Each object in Centix has its own QR code sticker. With the help of the QR code you directly identify the tool with a smartphone or tablet.
After scanning the QR code, you get immediate access to the datasheet of the tool, it’s condition, certificates, and other information. From here, you start the selected inspection. The Centix OnSite App works both online and offline.
Finally, use your PAT-tester. With many PAT-testers it is possible to connect a scanner so that your PAT-Tester can also use the QR code stickers. This saves you a lot of time and prevents errors when identifying the object. Then perform the electrical measurement.
When you have completed all visual and electrical inspections, steps 1 to 4, you can synchronise the Centix OnSite App in one go. Then you upload the measurements form your PAT-tester in Centix Online. The state of the inspected objects is updated and the inspection certificates become available.
In Centix, unique numbering of objects operates differently than you might expect. When searching for an object using a specific number, Centix doesn’t match numbers strictly as typed. For instance, if you search for 123, Centix will also identify it within sequences like 1123 or 1231. To ensure accurate results, Centix recommends using a sufficient number of characters when entering object numbers.
